A self-proclaimed “military brat” Kathryn grew up all over the world including Alaska, Asia and Europe, her dad was in the Air Force. After graduating from high school in Germany – moved back to the United States and studied Fine Arts at Solono Community College, graduating from Sacramento State University with a BA in Communications.

 

Kathryn started her career working in broadcasting and journalism which led to promotions and public relations for non-profits. Working with non-profits truly became a calling. 

 

After 23 years in public service, Kathryn is semi-retired and has rediscovered her preferred medium – watercolor painting. She paints from inspiration from her gardens. She is an avid gardener living in the PNW where the winters are long. Painting flowers helps Kathryn wait for spring and enjoy her gardens at the same time. 

 

Painting botanicals and flowers led to sharing her art with family and friends as notecards and prints. Now Kathryn is sharing them with you!  Enjoy!
