The Corn Snow
 
Living in northern Michigan often includes a snow after the tulips had started popping up giving us the hope that spring had finally arrived. This snow is often referred to as corn snow. Northern Michiganders love to take advantage of a good sledding hill no matter the calendar date. Those familiar with the area will also recognize the barn as one listed in the Timberland Quilt Trail for Oscoda county.
